About Tracy Cheung

Tracy Cheung is Senior Manager of Sustainability & Clean Energy at Waymo, where she supports the company as it scales its all-electric autonomous driving technology.

Tracy brings more than 15 years of experience across clean energy, electric transportation and sustainability. Before joining Waymo, she led sustainability and fleet energy work at Cruise and spent more than a decade at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) in roles spanning electric vehicle programs, grid strategy, energy policy and business operations.

Her work has focused on the practical challenges of scaling cleaner transportation and energy solutions. At Waymo, she has also contributed to efforts to extend the life of retired EV batteries through their use in grid-scale energy storage.

Tracy holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and a BA from Williams College.

As an ICF-PCC certified executive coach, Shannon is a Leadership Circle Profile coach and was selected as a Meta Coach to teach on Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence Coach Certification course. She is also certified in Harrison Assessments, The GameChanger Index, and Korn Ferry's ESCI 360. PCC credential holders are trained, experienced coaches with a commitment to high ethical standards.
